I told my wife she was drawing her eyebrows too high... She looked surprised.
It's never easy telling someone they're doing something wrong, especially when it comes to their appearance. But sometimes it just has to be done. And that's exactly what I had to do with my wife.
You see, my wife is a lovely woman. She's smart, funny, and beautiful. But she has this habit of drawing her eyebrows too high. I know, I know, it doesn't sound like a big deal. But trust me, when you see it, it's hard not to notice.
At first, I thought maybe I was just being overly critical. But then I started to notice other people noticing it too. We'd be out and about running errands, and I'd catch people doing double-takes or staring a little too long. It was like they were trying to figure out what was different about her face.
I didn't want to embarrass her, so I decided to bring it up gently. I waited until we were home and sitting on the couch together. I took a deep breath and said, "Hey, babe, can I ask you something?"
"Sure," she said, looking up from her book.
"I don't want to hurt your feelings, but... are you drawing your eyebrows a little too high?" I asked.
Her brow furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, they look a little... surprised?" I said, hesitantly.
Her hand flew to her forehead, and she quickly headed to the bathroom mirror. I followed her, feeling a little guilty.
"Oh my God," she said, looking at her reflection. "I had no idea. I just thought it made my eyes look bigger."
I tried not to laugh. "Well, you definitely achieved that," I said, jokingly.
She shook her head, still staring at her face in the mirror. "I can't believe I've been walking around like this. I look ridiculous."
I put my arm around her. "Hey, it's not that bad. And you're still beautiful. You're just... a little surprised-looking."
We both laughed, and she thanked me for telling her. She immediately washed off the excess makeup and started practicing a new technique for drawing her eyebrows.
Over the next few days, I noticed a significant improvement. Her eyebrows were lower, and her face looked more relaxed. And best of all, nobody was staring at her anymore.
It might seem like a small thing, but sometimes, it's the small things that can make all the difference. I'm glad I was able to help my wife, and I'm even happier that we were able to laugh about it together.
So, if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, don't be afraid to speak up. You might just be doing someone a huge favor. And who knows? You might get a good laugh out of it too.

If I may add some points of humor, here are a few examples:
1. I once went to a comedy club and the comedian asked a woman in the audience why she was drawing her eyebrows so high. She looked surprised. It was then that I realized I wasn't the only one who had noticed this strange phenomenon.
2. My wife's new hobby is eyebrow drawing. It's like she's trying to create a mini mountain range above her eyes.
3. I told my wife she was drawing her eyebrows too high and she looked like she had seen a ghost. I had no idea she was so attached to them.
4. There's a famous quote that says, "The eyes are the windows to the soul." Well, in my wife's case, it's more like the eyebrows are the curtains to the soul.
5. My wife keeps trying to convince me that her new eyebrow technique is the latest trend. But I'm pretty sure the only place it's trending is in an alternate universe.
